Trading and research risk
Risk disclosure
Forex, CFDs and other leveraged products can involve substantial risk. FXVeritas research does not determine whether trading is suitable for any person.
Public file principles
These rules apply to every FXVeritas public research page. They are not a ranking.
- Research Confidence is not a safety rating.
- Regulator verified does not mean a broker is safe.
- Unknown does not mean unsafe. Unverified does not mean fraudulent. Unregulated does not automatically mean a scam.
- Protection unknown does not mean no.
- Commercial or affiliate relationships do not change research labels, verification status, Research Confidence, or editorial conclusions.
- FXVeritas does not recommend a broker because data has been verified.
Trading and leverage risk
Leverage can magnify losses as well as gains. A trader may lose all funds committed to trading and, depending on the product, agreement, jurisdiction and account protections, may face additional liabilities.
Prices can move rapidly and positions may be closed at unfavourable levels.
Regulation does not eliminate risk
A broker relationship can involve operational, legal, custody, payment, execution, technology, insolvency, fraud and counterparty risks.
A licence may apply only to a particular legal entity, jurisdiction, product, domain or client category. Verification of a licence is not an endorsement.
Limits of FXVeritas research
FXVeritas research reflects the public record and identified evidence available at a point in time. It may be incomplete, delayed, disputed, unavailable or wrong.
Research Confidence describes evidence coverage and freshness under the methodology. It is not a safety probability, credit rating, investment rating or recommendation.
Client protections vary
Negative-balance protection, segregated funds, compensation schemes and complaint routes vary by legal entity, jurisdiction, residence, client classification and product.
Unknown means the public file does not establish the fact. It is not confirmation that protection exists or does not exist.
Market and execution conditions
Spreads, swaps, slippage, liquidity, execution speed, margin requirements and product availability can change rapidly.
Broker-advertised conditions are not the same as independently observed execution, and historical conditions do not guarantee future results.
Independent assessment
Before opening, funding or trading through an account, users should identify the exact contracting entity, verify the current licence directly, review current agreements and risk warnings, and confirm which protections apply.
Users must assess suitability independently and obtain qualified professional advice where needed.
